Aslaam
Alaikum (Peace be upon you)
Welcome to inside-islam.co.uk, a site dedicated to introducing Islam to
Christians and Atheists. I hope you find the site enlightening and god
willing it will stir up your interest in searching further for the truth. The
real truth about Islam, the purpose of your life, god, the Prophets and the life
hereafter. This site comprises of content sourced from trusted sites across the
internet and is designed to be a non-Muslims 'one-stop-shop' for everything about
Islam.
My main intention in creating the site was to try to eradicate some of the
misconceptions non-Muslims might have about Islam. Terrorism, war and oppression
have become synonymous with Islam due to the negative portrayal by the
media and the lack of understanding and practicing of the true faith by some
Muslims, leaders and regimes.
The second reason is because it is the duty of every Muslim to invite
non-Muslims to Islam. This website is my minuscule attempt at carrying out this
obligation and spreading the pure message of Islam.
I pray you will not just stop here but you will take the next step and
read the Holy Qur'an. The last scripture revealed by God to the Prophet Mohammed
(peace be upon him) and discover the true Islam. Just like many of the people
did in the lectures and videos on this site. The Holy Qur'an can be bought
from the Internet and most good bookshops. You can also order a free copy from
www.idci.co.uk along with other literature
on Islam. I have also provided you with a PDF version of the Qur'an in the
Documents
section. The Holy Qur'an can also be viewed and listened to online at
http://quranexplorer.com. Alternatively email me if you want an audio
DVD copy for your PC and I will do my best to send it to you free of charge.
N.B. the
site has been tested using XP and Vista and Microsoft Internet Explorer V6 and
V7 only. Limited testing has been carried out on Firefox and Safari.
All files have been virus checked and should be downloaded before playing.
The pages contain active content so if your browser blocks it, it is safe to
allow it. There are many links on the site that will take you to websites
which I think will be of benefit.
(N.B. I cannot be responsible for the content of
external sites or any problems experienced following the download of any
material from this site or sites linked to this site).
